Improve your swim stroke, join a water fitness activity, or swing by for a meal by the water, the Tennis Club offers plenty to do poolside all year long.

We are very proud of our outdoor 25-yard regulation pool, which is kept heated to 82 degrees year round. Our pool deck is filled with poolside lounges, 3 cabanas each with pillow-topped day beds and an on deck 10 person Jacuzzi.
Our stainless steel barbeque and outdoor kitchen is always ready four your cooking needs and adjacent is a play structure, Ping-Pong tables, and several other activities for the whole family to enjoy

  • SBTC Novice Swim Team

      Monday, Wednesday, Friday:4:00-5:00pm

      Our novice swim team welcomes both members and non-members to join. Our program is designed to help our swimmers become more proficient in the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Our practices are 60 minutes long, and our students focus on building endurance, developing strength and establishing confidence in the water.

    • karen KLEDZIK

      Swim Instructor

       Karen’s fitness life began in 1984 when she began taking and enjoying classes herself. She quickly began teaching in 1988 where she became a fitness instructor at the Santa Barbara Athletic Club and is still currently teaching spinning, weighted work-out and aqua aerobics there. Karen also teaches classes at Cathedral Oaks and Coral Casino. Karen enjoys the many wonderful people she encounters while teaching and is looking forward to being part of the team at Santa Barbara Tennis Club.

      Eva Koester

      Swim Instructor

       Eva has been a part of the Tennis Club Family for over 6 years now and has 8 years experience being a swim instructor. Eva has also become a certified personal trainer and is excited to become a part of our Aqua Fitness program. Eva’s class will be geared towards building strength and endurance in the water with fun and effective exercises

  • Swimming Lessons

      The Club offers private swim lessons taught by WSI certified instructors. Each lesson is geared towards the student’s personal needs. We focus on water safety and stroke development at all levels. Swim lessons are encouraged for individuals of any age (infants to adults).

      Private swim workouts are perfect for the everyday lap swimmer looking to improve their stroke, swimmers looking for a more challenging workout, and the competitive triathlete looking to be pushed through challenging sets. Our coaches can develop a workout perfect for you and your goals in the water. We are equipped with the knowledge and tools to improve both your technique and your times.
