The New Cannibals
Selected works by 8 Mixed Media Artists.

This creative process begins with the artist searching, sorting and sifting through found papers and objects. A new vision emerges from combining, layering, reassembling and juxtaposing; shifting from their original purpose. Through deconstruction, and rethinking of original meanings, the artists break down and blur the
usual boundaries between consumption and production. The New Cannibals have the need to salvage ephemera, images, and fragments from the past, combine them with a new contemporary vision, and make the finished product relevant.
Show Dates: July 3rd - September 1st, 2021
Artist Reception: July 9th 5:30- 7:00pm
Masks are required and to be supplied by the guest.
