Jeff Villano

Tennis Professional

Jeff started at SBTC in 1998. Currently, he is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional who guides private and group lessons to players of all ages and levels; he is also a USRSA Master Racquet Technician who services all the club members’ racquet, restringing, and re-gripping needs. In the time Jeff has been at the club, he has been the Club Manager, a Tennis Professional, Pro Shop Owner, Co-Director of the Holiday and Summer Junior Tennis Camps, captained Men’s & Women’s Interclub teams, Junior Team Tennis teams, and ran many successful tennis events.

In his spare time, he works with the Santa Barbara Tennis Patrons and goes into the local elementary schools to introduce the sport of tennis during PE. Jeff grew up in Santa Barbara as a highly ranked junior in Southern California, played on a Santa Barbara High School Boys Tennis Team that won four straight CIF championships (without losing a match), and was a top player at Santa Barbara City College, Westmont College, and attended the University of California – Santa Barbara. Jeff has had the opportunity to play against many great tennis players as a youth (including the Bryan Brothers) and understands what it takes to succeed in tennis. Jeff is a great dad to four children who you’ll see on and off the courts. He is happy to have been at the club for over 20 years and to be part of the SBTC family.
